Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website ksihkslimited.site and any engagement with KSI HKS Limited. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by KSI HKS Limited, registered in England & Wales, with its address at Heathfield Knoll School Wolverley Road, Wolverley, Kidderminster, England, DY10 3QE, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 780 683.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. No school, and no connection with any school at our address
Our registered office address contains the name of a school at that location. KSI HKS Limited is a separate legal entity. This website is not the website of any school, is not published by or on behalf of any school, and nothing on it is to be read as indicating that KSI HKS Limited is any school, operates any school, or is connected with, endorsed by, approved by or affiliated to any school, any inspectorate, any awarding organisation, any local authority or any government department. No such connection, endorsement, approval or affiliation should be inferred from our address, our company name or anything else on this website. If you are looking for a particular school, please contact that school directly.
3b. Registration, standards and inspection
An independent school in England must be registered with the Secretary of State for Education under section 96 of the Education and Skills Act 2008 before it provides full-time education to five or more pupils of compulsory school age, or to one or more such pupils who has an education, health and care plan or who is looked after by a local authority. Conducting an unregistered independent school is a criminal offence. Registered independent schools must meet the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014 and are inspected by Ofsted or by an independent inspectorate approved by the Secretary of State, and those inspection reports are published. Early years provision for children under five must be registered, either with Ofsted on the Early Years Register or as part of a registered independent school, and must deliver the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Nothing on this website states or implies that KSI HKS Limited holds any such registration, and you must not assume that it does. We make no claim to any Department for Education registration, any Ofsted or independent inspectorate registration, grade, judgement or inspection outcome, any Early Years Register entry, any examination result, any pupil roll or attendance figure, any staff qualification or teacher status, any facility, any charitable status, any awarding organisation or examination board approval, any accreditation, any membership of any association of schools, and any insurance. Before entering into any arrangement concerning the education of a child, ask us in writing what we are registered for, and then verify it yourself against the Department for Education’s register of independent schools and the published inspection reports. Do not rely on this website for that purpose.
3c. Safeguarding
Safeguarding duties apply to education providers as a matter of law and are not a feature of any service. Providers in England work to the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education; must appoint a designated safeguarding lead; must obtain enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificates including a children’s barred list check for everyone engaged in regulated activity with children; must keep a single central record of recruitment and vetting checks; must check that no person is subject to a prohibition order or a direction under section 128 of the Education and Skills Act 2008; and must have a written child protection policy made available to parents. This website does not confirm which of those arrangements are currently in place and does not reproduce any policy. Ask us for the written safeguarding and child protection policy and for the identity of the designated safeguarding lead before any child has contact with us. If you have an immediate concern about a child’s safety, contact the local authority or the police rather than this company.
3d. Tutoring and educational support
Educational support services, including private tutoring, are not a registered activity in England and are not inspected. That is a fact about the sector, not a claim of quality. Any person working unsupervised with children is nonetheless engaged in regulated activity and must be vetted accordingly. Tutoring and support are provided on written terms agreed with the parent or other person with parental responsibility, which set out the sessions, the fees, the cancellation and notice arrangements and the place of delivery. We do not supervise a child beyond the agreed session and we do not take on a parent’s or a school’s responsibilities. We are not an awarding organisation or examination centre and cannot enter a candidate for, mark, moderate or certify any qualification. We give no guarantee of any examination grade, place, offer or academic outcome, and any such outcome depends on the pupil and on bodies outside our control. Where we provide administrative support to an education provider, that provider’s statutory duties remain its own and are not transferred to us. Nothing on this website is advice about a particular child, and nothing on it is a contract.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
